We always buy our fish and chips from here, have done for years, and always recommend to people to go there, BUT, lately and since change of ownership, the chips have gone downhill, all you get now are bits, and full of oil, and now the fish isn’t as nice as it used to be, or the batter. it’s a shame. I don’t understand why people do this when they buy such a great business, and then change everything, we ordered fish and chips tonight , and were not impressed. ( again ) I’m afraid we will be looking for another fish and chip shop from now on.
Visiting from Sunshine Coast grand daughter brought home fish and chips. It has been a long time since I've had a great fish and chip meal. Chips fresh and double cooked. Well done, still salivating over them.
This is a good fish and chips joint. Chips were the best I have had in Townsville and the fish was pretty decent - good size but a tad over done making it a little tough, but you do sometimes get that with Spanish Mackerel. Could be that it was a bit thinner than some places perhaps. Will I go back Absolutely.
